Creative Things You Can Do with Your Old CDs
Never throw your old CDs away! They are filling up landfills everyday.
It is estimated that as many as 30 million CDs are tossed in the garbage
each month.
- Turn your worthless CD into a sun catcher, a wind catcher, an ornament.
Here's a site titled "101 Things to Do with CDs":
www.hintsandthings.co.uk/musichall/CDroms.htm
- Hang them in your garden to scare away annoying birds.
- Make them into a piece of artwork: paint, draw, scratch, hang them
on your wall, cut them up into pieces and arrange them into a mosaic...
- Use them as Christmas light reflectors: find bulbs that fit through
the center and hang anywhere, or outside for a neat attraction.
- Use them as candleholders to beautifully set your dinner table;
they give off a nice reflection.
- Cover with felt or other fabric and use as a coaster for your coffee.
- Hang them near your store or business to attract people's attention.
- Make them into Christmas wreaths, decorations, and ornaments...

- Use as a template or compass for geometry.
If you can't find anything else to do with those aggravating CDs, recycle
them by sending whole disks, without packaging, in packages of less
than 50 lbs. to:
