I knelt
and touched your wound today and it hurt... deeply. I
am so sorry, I am so sorry, I am so sorry the only words that
made it through my tears. In your pain... in my pain... I
felt the pain of the world. In your wound I saw the wounds of
the world. The chasm of seperation, the abyss of lost
souls... holding on by a thread to our roots in this fragile
fabric called life. The tear is deep, but so is our commitment to
healing. I go through waves of grief... my sadness at our
disconnect deep... deep in the wound of my soul. I feel
dazed. The hurt sometimes is a haze of my ability to
see clearly, yet at the same time it is opening and expanding my
heart to see clearer, to go deeper... growing pains. I
know we will grow together, we will heal together, we
will live together. We will live to stand another day, and
we will grow through the struggle as it transforms the sap
of our grief into the strength of our tomorrow. And hope lives
on in our hearts committed in action. And the symbol of
you lives on in the hearts of those committed in action. And
the tear is deep, but so is our commitment to healing.
